[tahoe-dev] linking pycryptopp against system provided cryptopp

Hi list,

I'm a package maintainer for Fedora, and I'd like to get tahoe in our
repositories.
I've started to package up a few of the dependencies, but hit a
roadblock with pycryptopp.

For inclusion in Fedora, it has to be linked against the system
provided cryptopp.
I've attached a patch to http://allmydata.org/trac/pycryptopp/ticket/9
to do that, but somehow this doesn't work correctly.
A c++ exception is thrown, but somehow not caught by python.

Maybe someone who knows more about linking c++ with python can have a
look?

Regards,

Ruben Kerkhof
