[tahoe-dev] Installation error

Hi Zooko,

I'm understanding now that it's better to have eggs than tars in my
local tahoe-deps directory, so I downloaded everything from

to my local directory and removed the corresponding tars. There was no pycryptopp for py2.5, so I used the py2.6 version. This is the contents of my local directory:

A strange thing happened. When the setup got to pycryptopp, it couldn't find the local egg copy. It downloaded a tar from

but then stalled. I'm guessing that setup might have finished this time if it used the local egg copy, but I have no idea why it didn't.

By now I'm wondering why you don't have a version already built for windows for users to download.
