Oh, better put that on a separate line so that we can see which call is
throwing the exception, i.e. replace line 302 with something like:

  print "cwd =", os.getcwd()
  cwdu = os.getcwdu()
  print "cwdu =", repr(cwdu)
  path = os.path.join(cwdu, path)
