I've tagged the first (and hopefully only) Release Candidate this
afternoon. The full tag name is "allmydata-tahoe-1.10.0c1", and the git
revision ID is d7e71cd22b78f1dde0c69e7e09cf34987b8bc748. The tarballs
are available for download in:

  https://tahoe-lafs.org/source/tahoe-lafs/tarballs/

with the filenames:

  allmydata-tahoe-1.10.0c1.zip
  allmydata-tahoe-1.10.0c1.tar.gz
  allmydata-tahoe-1.10.0c1.tar.bz2
  allmydata-tahoe-1.10.0c1-SUMO.zip
  allmydata-tahoe-1.10.0c1-SUMO.tar.gz
  allmydata-tahoe-1.10.0c1-SUMO.tar.bz2

Barring any problems that appear in the next week, I'll promote this
revision to 1.10.0 final next wednesday, 01-May-2013.

Please give it a spin and let us know about any problems you see. I've
updated the tahoe-deps bundle to include the most recent version of most
dependencies (the main exception being pyOpenSSL-0.12, which we're
preferring over the current 0.13 because of some bugs with
OpenSSL-0.9.8). So I'm especially eager to hear about experiences using
the "SUMO" bundles, and on our challenging platforms (where you might
use pre-compiled eggs).

Also please look through the docs and the usual release-specific stuff
(NEWS, known_issues.rst) for typos and confusing text. Those are all
fair game to fix up in the next week.

The final release tarballs will be GPG-signed, as usual.

T-minus One Week!
  -Brian
