Yes.  This is unfortunate.  We haven't found an effective way to manage
spam on trac with open registration, so there is no open registration.
I've added information to the front page explaining how to get an account.
As far as general usability issues with trac, that's a bit beyond the scope
of the Tahoe-LAFS project.

Hm.  I see the sponsorship link to Least Authority at the bottom of the
front page.  I'll see what I can do about updating that.

GridSync is an open-source project separate from Tahoe-LAFS.  I can try to
draw cypher's attention to your feedback, though.

Kind of a tragedy of the web, eh?  If you want to point out specific broken
links I suppose they can be addressed on a case-by-case basis.  As long as
the web is the web and there are any third-party links, though, I suspect
this is an issue that cannot be resolved, just monitored.
