Thanks for replying.  That all sounds compliant then.

Personally I find it really unfortunate to accomodate companies that
systematically prevent Free Software, especially by GPL3+exception.  If
you are ok with non-Free derivd works (which is what comes out of the
apple store), then I think it's best to just use a BSD license.  But at
least the additional permission requires the source to be available on
the side, so I can understand why you did this.
